Join us for Science on Tap, Thursday, November 7th at 6:30pm in the Cellar at the FLBC Pubhouse. Our speaker is John Fraley, retired FWP and current FVCC faculty.

His talk will be “Biology and Spirituality of Westslope Cutthroat Trout in the South Fork of the Flathead.”

John Fraley retired from a 40-year career as a biologist with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, where he worked in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and other wild areas. He has written five books about wilderness and backcountry adventures, including Wild River Pioneers, Rangers, Trappers and Trailblazers, and Heroes of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. At the November 7 Science on Tap presentation, John will talk about westslope cutthroat trout biology and spirituality focused on the headwaters of the South Fork of the Flathead River, as covered in his 2022 book, My Wilderness Life.
