Stephanie Brancati
Stephanie is eager to help with Lakers' projects to safeguard the pristine nature of Flathead Lake. As a child, Stephanie loved going on weekend outings with her mom to the streams and mountains outside of Denver and camping with her Montana relatives in Yellowstone. All those childhood experiences led to an interest in the outdoors and in protecting wild lands. Stephanie graduated from Colorado State University, college of Forestry and Natural Resources. She then worked for the US Forest Service for several years in Colorado and Wyoming. Later, she went on to get a second degree from the University of Colorado School of Nursing, after which she began a 30 year career in nursing.
After retirement eight years ago, Stephanie and her husband moved to Flathead Lake full time, into the house they have had for many years. She delights in being on the lake, and sharing that enjoyment with the many summer visitors they have, swimming, hiking, kayaking, or sailing in their small sailboat, showing them the beauty of the Flathead area.
