Rolf Sohlberg

Rolf is a retired orthopedic surgeon, and currently resides in Lakeside, Montana.  He grew up in Missoula, attending Hellgate HS, Stanford University, and then his MD from University of Washington.  He practiced orthopedic hand surgery in Portland, OR for 27 years before retiring in 2021.  He returned to his beloved home state of Montana two years ago, and currently resides in Lakeside, at the north end of Flathead Lake.  He is involved with the Montana Media Coalition and is part owner of Nova Vento Entertainment, a film production and distribution company headquartered in Polson.

Having spent at least part of every summer on Finley Point for the past 55 years, he is intimately familiar with the pristine waters of Flathead Lake and its tributaries, and looks forward to helping protect this irreplaceable watershed.
