Summer is coming – calling all citizen scientists

Our citizen science volunteers will be out on the water again this summer measuring water clarity and studying periphyton (slime on rocks) around Flathead Lake.

Become a volunteer! Participate in the annual Secchi Dip-in!  Help us continue to monitor Flathead Lake, in partnership with the FLBS Flathead Lake Monitoring Program.

If you are interested in participating in our Flathead Lake Citizen Science program, or our lake-wide periphyton study funded by the Greater Polson Community Foundation, contact Hilary Devlin, hilary@flatheadlakers.org or 406-883-1341, for more information.  We will make sure all activities follow social distancing guidelines.

If you already have your Secchi disk, stay tuned for further instructions or contact Hilary.
