Return of student field trips brings sunshine and smiles.

The Lakers were thrilled to host local students once again at the Flathead Lake Biological Station in Yellow Bay. While still not typical, over three beautiful days, Polson 3rd grade and Bigfork 5th grade participated in small group, hands-on activities learning about our watershed, its inhabitants, and complexities.

Thank you to our volunteers and the Flathead Lake Biological Station for their support, and the students, teachers, and chaperones for a great few days. It was inspiring to see students and adults excited to be out by the lake, learning, and enjoying the day together.

"It was so relaxing to sit and look out at the lake, and just paint."

"I could watch these bugs move all day long."

"Everyone was so engaged!"
