Erosion Study Bill: Last Friday, the Lakers testified in front of the Senate Committee for Natural Resources in favor of SJ 28, which would fund a 'Study of Erosion on Flathead River'.
The Lakers have advocated for improving and mitigating concerns along the Flathead River, north of Kalispell, in order to combat erosion, since 2005, and the area has only increased in popularity since. The study bill passed the Senate floor 43-7 this week, and will need to pass the House committee and House floor.
