Removal of invasive lake trout in NW Montana lakes up next at Science on Tap


Lake Trout have invaded or been introduced to many lakes in NW Montana with negative ecological impacts to native communities. Changes in the lake food web structure are a common result of invasion. Restoration efforts to remove non-native Lake Trout are underway in many local lakes. Charles Wainwright will discuss his work analyzing how Lake Trout introduction and removal affect lake communities and food web structure.
