We are delighted to have Rob Mitchell join our Board of Directors. Rob and his wife Nancy recently retired and moved to the Rocky Point area near Polson.
“My family’s roots along the shores of Flathead Lake run deep and have provided many fond memories for generations of my family. My Great-grandfather arrived in Polson and established the first bakery in the area in 1904,” Rob told us.
He enjoyed a long career in agriculture, including operating a family farm, leading business operations for a multinational corporation, and serving on the Executive Board of the American Seed Trade Association.
Last year, Rob got engaged in researching and sharing information about invasive mussels. He now looks forward to helping the Flathead Lakers grow to better protect our lake and watershed.
