River to Lake mission statement

The primary goal of the River to Lake Initiative is to protect large parcels of critical habitat, including wetlands, riparian areas and adjacent farmland within the river corridor and the northshore of Flathead Lake. The focus of this project is to bring agencies and organizations together to provide incentives and options for private landowners to conserve critical habitat.

Flathead Land Trust, the Flathead Lakers, the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, the American Bird Conservancy, the Montana and Flathead Audubon Societies, and others.
